Mel Gibson No More Anger Issues

Mel Gibson has done all he needs to do to prove he has conquered his anger issues ... TMZ has learned.

Mel's lawyer, Blair Berk, appeared before Judge Stephanie Sautner this AM and showed her honor proof that Mel not only completed the required number of hours of court-ordered anger management therapy -- he exceeded it.

As a result, all Mel has to do now to get off of probation -- for pleading no contest to battery against Oksana Grigorieva -- is keep his nose clean for 2 more years, and then he's officially off informal probation.

Britney Spears Settles Sexual Harassment Suit Filed By Former Bodyguard

Britney Spears has settled a lawsuit filed by Fernando Flores, a bodyguard who worked for her for a very short time -- a bodyguard who claimed Britney was a sex-crazed maniac who came on to him and flashed him.

Sources close to Britney say the lawsuit is total B.S. -- he worked for her for about a minute.

Nonetheless ... Britney decided to end the lawsuit after going before a private mediator ... and it's officially case closed.

As for whether Britney paid Flores any loot ... no one is talking.  The terms of the settlement are confidential.

Justin Bieber The $14 Million Birthday Gift

Justin Bieber is going ALL OUT for his 18th birthday -- parachuting in the afternoon, a fancy dinner followed by a fun party ... and he's gonna buy TWO ultra-expensive mega-mansions ... TMZ has learned.

Justin has been on a real estate hunt in L.A. for a while ... but now, sources connected to the singer tell us he's narrowed his search down to 3 pads.

2 of the mansions are in Calabasas, CA ... home of the Kardashians, a few Jackson family members and Britney Spears.

We're told one of the estates Justin is eying has a $6 million price tag ... the other's on the market for a cool $8 mil.

The third home Biebs is interested in is in the Hollywood area -- a PIMPED OUT bachelor pad currently being rented by Ashton Kutcher. We're told that place is listed for $10 million.

Sources connected to Justin tell us ... he wants to buy one place for himself and one for his mother. The two CHEAPEST would cost $14 mil.

Halle Berry Fires Longtime Lawyer Hires Legal Bulldozer

Halle Berry has dumped another man ... but this one has been with her way longer than all the others -- her longtime lawyer/confidante, Neal Hersh ... TMZ has learned.

Here's the lowdown. Our sources tell us Halle wants to go after her baby daddy Gabriel Aubry with nuclear weapons -- metaphorically speaking -- and she thinks Hersh is too much of a gentleman to wage that kind of legal war, even though he has guided Halle through 2 divorces, a custody war and various other legal skirmishes.

So we've learned Halle has hired Stephen Kolodny (above), who is legendary in L.A. legal circles for the level of legal warfare she so wants. You may recall Kolodny repped Mel Gibson in his epic battle with Oksana Grigorieva -- and that got kinda nasty.

Kolodny has already gone to court with Halle. We've learned last Thursday the new duo went to dependency court to have more restrictions placed on Aubry. The dependency judge has already ordered that Gabriel can only have contact with Nahla in the presence of a monitor. On Thursday, we're told the judge voiced additional concerns and ordered Gabriel to return the child to Halle earlier than the 6 PM deadline on days he has custody.

Kolodny will have his hands full trying to convince the family law judge that Halle should be able to move to France with the child because she's concerned about paparazzi and safety. 

One thing's for sure ... it's gonna get nasty.

Hersh and Kolodny could not be reached for comment.

Lindsay Lohan Please Invite Me to the Oscars!

Lindsay Lohan says she regrets all the dumb crap that derailed her career and turned her life into a disaster ... but now Lindsay says she wants to be taken seriously again ... so she can finally score an invite to the Oscars.

Lohan sat down with Matt Lauer on the "Today" show to talk about her "comeback" ... both professionally and personally.

Lohan explained, "I regret the choices that I've made ... but I’m grateful for where I am today because of them, because ... I don’t need to see any more negative stuff, I don't need to put myself in those places anymore."

Lindsay also talked about her time at the morgue -- telling Matt it's been a positive learning experience that's helping her in the long run.

When asked where she'll be in 5 years, Lohan said, "Hopefully I'll have just come from the Oscars this past weekend."

Arnold & Maria Reunite For the Sake of the Furniture

More signs Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver are reconciling -- they went furniture shopping together yesterday ... FURNITURE SHOPPING!!!

The former couple hit up The Ivy in Santa Monica for a lunch date Tuesday ... and after the meal, they walked over to a nearby furniture store and checked out some of the goods.

Arnold's probably a couch expert by now ... considering he probably slept on one for a while after Maria found out he had a love child with the former maid.

As TMZ previously reported, Maria has been extremely conflicted about going through with the divorce because of her strong religious beliefs ... and we're told she's flip-flopped on the whole divorce thing many times.

One thing is for sure, Maria is the one in the driver's seat.
