Vanessa Bryant Shops for NY Apartment Bye, Bye, L.A.?

Vanessa Bryant and her kids were in New York City over the weekend, looking for a big ol' apartment ... TMZ has learned.

Real estate sources tell us ... Vanessa won't say if she's packing up and moving from California -- but she definitely wants to buy a place in NYC.

It's not exactly a sign that she's reconciling with Kobe Bryant, even though the two were kissing after the Lakers game on Valentine's Day.

Vanessa now owns 3 estates in Newport Beach, after Kobe transferred title to her as part of their divorce -- which has not yet become final.  And, as we first reported, Vanessa will score a total of $75 mil in the settlement.

As for whether Vanessa would move away from California ... we're told she thinks Lakers fans and Lakers wives don't like her -- at least that's the way she perceives it.

No doubt ... if Vanessa did move, it would royally screw Kobe up.  He still loves her, wants her back, and doesn't want his kids to live across the country.

Our real estate sources say Vanessa made it clear -- Kobe knows she's shopping in the Big Apple.

Clint Eastwood We Haven't Had a Great President Since Truman!!

Clint Eastwood tells TMZ ... he hasn't been impressed with an American president in quite a while ... dating all the way back to one Harry S. Truman.

Eastwood was leaving the Beverly Wilshire hotel this weekend -- where Obama stays when he's in town -- when we asked the Hollywood legend to pick his favorite U.S. president of all time.

Clint said he was a big fan of Washington and Lincoln and then asked, "You mean in our life time?"

Eastwood then explained, "I think Truman because he got mad at the people who bum wrapped his daughter."

But then Clint dropped the DISS -- saying, "We haven't seen one for a while."

Nate Dogg Sex Tape Being Shopped

A 5-minute sex tape featuring the late Nate Dogg and an unidentified female lover has surfaced ... and it's being shopped to various media outlets ... TMZ has learned.

We've seen the tape -- shot several years ago -- and it's pretty much what you'd expect ... a lot of sex ... two different positions ... and a sexy Luther Vandross soundtrack.

Sources tell us ... the person in possession of the tape is currently shopping it around to the usual porn studios. So far, no takers.

Miley Cyrus Tatted Up Again

Miley Cyrus was at it again last night -- which with her can mean several things -- but in this case she got another tattoo ... TMZ has learned.

Cyrus showed up at Studio City Tattoo at around 8:00 PM last night with a few friends, including BF Liam Hemsworth (see below).

Miley was the only one of the crew to get inked ... with the phrase "Love Never Dies" on the inside of her left bicep.

Maybe there was a special on clichés.

Kobe Bryant to Vanessa I Won't Cheat Ever Again!!!

Kobe Bryant is making a full court press to save his marriage ... and has sworn up and down to Vanessa he will never stray again if she takes him back.

Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ ... Kobe has "aggressively" pursued Vanessa over the last three weeks, and she's been receptive. We're told Vanessa tends to believe Kobe, but still isn't sure the marriage can be resurrected.  

And then there's the subject of lavish gifts.  We're told Kobe has given Vanessa a very expensive piece of jewelry. We don't know the price, nor do we know how it compares to the $4 million ring she scored after Kobe's infamous dalliance a few years back.

As for whether they will drop the divorce, we're told they are working on a reconciliation.  Several sources very familiar with the couple told us at the time Vanessa filed legal docs not to be surprised if the papers are withdrawn ... because they both really love each other.

DMX Accused of Owing $1 MILLION In Child Support

DMX has been accused of owing more than $1 million in back child support -- but TMZ has learned, the rapper ain't convinced the woman pointing the finger is really his baby mama.

X's ex, Patricia Trejo, was in L.A. Superior Court Thursday morning, arguing against a motion DMX filed in their ongoing paternity case -- in which the rapper asked the court for permission to perform in Europe.

You see, in paternity cases where significant child support is owed, the owing parent is prohibited from obtaining a passport without a court order -- and X wants a special dispensation.

But Patricia put her foot down in court Thursday -- claiming DMX owed $1 million in unpaid child support, going back to her daughter's birth over ten years ago ... and she was tired of waiting around.

Now here's the twist -- DMX tells TMZ, he hasn't paid because he's not convinced the girl is his ... and wants a DNA test to prove paternity before he starts handing over cash.
